Have Mac and iOS but wife has Android...
Good day,
I am new to 1Password and trying to get it set up on all our devices. I have a Mac computer with 1Password installed from AppStore. I have an iPhone and iPad with the 1Password app installed. My wife has / insists on Android devices. I am trying to learn the best way to have them all sync and play nice with one another as I have recently been making the logins for sites we both visit much more difficult to access. She does a lot of bill pay stuff from her phone and must have access as I do. Sadly she was very much against me getting 1Password as she is worried it will be not easy to sync with her device.
I prefer to have and use iCloud sync between my Mac, iPhone and iPad however I know she will not have the same capability on her Android. Is it possible to sync the Primary Vault with iCloud (for me) and a Secondary vault with Dropbox for her access on her Android, or must I switch everything to dropbox because she insists on having an Android?
If I must with to dropbox for all my syncing needs, how does that work... Do I just share a folder with her or must she be logged into my dropbox account on her android?
Thanks in advance!
1Password Version: 5.3
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OS X 10.10.3
Sync Type: iCloud

In no particular order, at present iCloud will only sync your primary vault, so if you have a secondary one, you'd need Dropbox for that anyway. If you and your wife have your shared data in that secondary vault, you ought to be able to keep synchronized for that with Dropbox. You could continue to use iCloud for your own primary vault, which only you would be able to access.
It would be simpler to move to Dropbox, which will handle all your needs without needing to involve two different cloud solutions. But that's your choice.

Hi @medic235,
As you can see from hawkmoth's answer you can indeed do exactly as you hoped. You can sync your own primary vault via iCloud and then a secondary vault via Dropbox.
Now if you want to also access the secondary vault on all of you devices that will mean using Dropbox too which is the angle hawkmoth is coming from. It is completely your choice though, you can use a combination of iCloud and Dropbox for your vaults if you want.
If you need any help at all please do let us know and we'll guide you through the process.
