How does it work when you're using a computer other than your own?
I am contemplating using 1password. How does it work when you're using a computer other than your own? for example, say I am in a colleague's office and want to log in to an airline website to print my boarding pass. could I call up the assigned pw on my iPhone?

You really have two choices when you're away from your computer:
- If you use Dropbox you could use 1Password Anywhere to access your 1P data.
- You could sync your 1P data to your phone and carry your phone with you (which is what I do).
If you want to do the latter it follows you need 1P for iOS on your phone. 1P for Mac and 1P for iOS are completely separate products.
1Password is licensed per person and per platform, rather than per device. You can read more about AgileBits' approach to software licensing in the knowledgebase:
https://support.1password.com/license-requirements/mac.html#how-is-1password-licensed-Just in case you don't know, 1P for iOS is a free download from the App Store accessed via your phone, with an in-app purchase to enable pro features.

Hi @davidgjohnson,
Depending on the website in question I imagine one of a couple of routes that could be followed.
- As Stephen_C has covered, if you use Dropbox then 1PasswordAnywhere could be one option.
- If the site allows you to email your boarding pass for printing you could log into the site from your iPhone using our iOS extension (sections 3.2.1 & 3.2.2 are how to get started) and then email the boarding pass to your colleague for printing.
- If the site doesn't allow this and you need to log in using another machine and 1. isn't viable then we have something called Large Type. It's an option that is available if you tap on a password entry in 1Password for iOS. It does the same as Reveal but in nice big lettering to allow easy eyeballing whilst typing.
Would any of those work for you at all?
and of course as Stephen_C has mentioned, you can try 1Password for iOS and see what you think before making any decisions. You can also trial 1Password for Mac if you want by downloading from our AgileBits Download page. You can play with 1Password for 30 days before making a decision. You won't be able to sync using iCloud in the trial as iCloud is limited to the Mac App Store version where we can't offer a trial.
If you have any further questions do please ask away
