Master Password Not Working on Second Computer

I've got 1P installed, syncing and working fine on my laptop (and iPhone).

However, I just installed 1P on my desktop and am unable to access 1P (I know I'm typing my master password in correctly). On my laptop (where it works), I have noticed it will show my password hint whenever I type the password wrong multiple times in a row.

On my desktop (where it's not working), it never displays a password hint.

Anyway ideas on what could be the hiccup?

Here's what the sync settings look like on my desktop.

1Password Version: 5.3.1

OS Version: 10.10.3
Sync Type: Dropbox

I was fooling around in the preferences and noticed the Backup section had backups from waaaaaay back in the day when I was beta testing 1Password 4.

That got me wondering if maybe there was a conflict of some type. So I looked and noticed there was a 1Password 4 folder inside of ~/Library/Application Support.

    I deleted that folder and re-launched 1P 5.

All is well in the world again. ;)

@alextran I'm glad all is working well—but do just be aware that 1P5 uses the 1P4 folder structure.

Glad you got it resolved @alextran  If you have been beta testing 1Password 4 back in the days then it sounds like an old test vault was your trouble which you resolved with the removal of the 1Password 4 folder. As Stephen_C mentions though, you want to keep the new copy of that folder
