I downloaded the trial 1password 4 for mac. I am running OS 10.9.5 (mavericks). How do I purchase this version? I don't see any option in the store.

    Hi @lllong,

    You can't purchase specifically a 1Password 4 licence but there is good news. A 1Password 5 licence covers you for anything from 1Password 3 onwards. 1Password 3 uses a licence key which we supply while 1Password 4 and 5 use a licence file which we will link you to in the email. It means you can run 1Password 4 now and if you ever decide to move up to Yosemite, which if you're running Mavericks the hardware will support, then you can upgrade to 1Password 5 and continue as you were, all with the same licence.

    Just to be sure I understand. I can purchase a license for 1password 5 and use it in the 1password 4 version that I am now running?

    In case it helps anyone else, a 1Password 5 purchase entitles you to use 1Password on all of your Macs; the license itself works in 1Password 4 on Mavericks and Mountain Lion as well, and a 1Password 3 license is also included for those who may need to use Snow Leopard or Lion. :chuffed: :+1:
