Problems with 1PW 5.3 w/Safari & Firefox
Hi, Am running 1PW 5.3 with extensions for both Safari & Firefox. With Firefox running, when I click on a login, system opens Safari, inputs username but omits password. What do I need to do to have 1PW work with Firefox? Would prefer not to delete Safari from iMac, I do use it occasionally. Thanks.
1Password Version: 5.3
Extension Version: Firefox & Safari = 4.3.1
OS Version: 10.10.3

Hi @Milesw,
When you open a Login item from the main 1Password app, that will open the website in the default web browser on your Mac. So it sounds like Safari is currently set up as the default browser. If you'd like to change that to Firefox instead, you can follow these steps:
- Open the System Preferences app on your Mac
- Select General
- Change the Default web browser setting to your preferred browser
Alternately, you can open a window in Firefox, then click the 1Password extension icon in the Firefox toolbar (or use the ⌘\ keyboard shortcut) and choose your Login item from there. That should open it in Firefox instead of Safari, regardless of which one is the default browser.
If 1Password is filling usernames but not passwords, that would be a different problem. If you're having some trouble with that, would you be able to let us know the URL for a site where that's happening?
Thanks, looking forward to hearing back from you!

Drew, Many thanks for your suggestions. I've left Safari as my default browser and am using the 1 PW extension icon on Firefox home page. Works perfectly! I appreciate the help. BTW.......great photo! Aloha!
