Sync on Mac reverts to none

After selecting Primary vault with "iCloud" then "Start synching" the it appears to sync but then the option reverts back to "none" and does not indicate time since last sync as per instructions. I have set the sync on both iPhone and iPad then run manual sync but no logins are sunched. I have been through the procedure to remove the iCloud sync file as per:

https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-mac-kb/5/en/topic/removing-data-from-icloud

but there is til the same problem. I think the issue is that the Primary Vault sync setting will not stay on iCloud but reverts to none for some reason.

Could you please advise.
Regards,
Kabi

    Hi @Kabi,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with iCloud sync! You're right - if the iCloud sync setting keeps reverting to "None", that's definitely a problem. Once you choose the iCloud option, it should remain set to iCloud sync. Thanks for letting us know what you've tried!

If you haven't already done so, try rebooting your Mac, then see if iCloud sync works in 1Password. If you still have the same problem, please take a look at this knowledgebase article: Troubleshooting iCloud sync issues

Not everything in that article will apply to your situation, and you've probably tried a few of those things already, but there might be some helpful tips in there as well. Do any of the suggestions help? Please let us know how it goes, and if you're still having the same problem, we'll dig a bit further. Thanks!

It seems to be sorted out now after rebooting. Thanks for the advice.

That's great to hear that a reboot resolved it @Kabi

As this seems to be resolved I'm going to close this thread but if you have any questions or issues in the future don't hesitate to post!
