Trouble syncing 1pw5 with 1pw4.
I use 1password 5 on 3x mac's and an iphone, they sync via wifi and it works well. I have an older macbook pro with 10.9 on it and 1password4, it won't use the wifi seemingly. what would be the best way to sync this with everything else I have?

Are you trying to avoid cloud solutions like Dropbox or iCloud? That would probably serve you best. WiFi sync isn't intended to be used among multiple Macs. It will work well for one Mac and multiple iOS devices. You can make it work with care by using the iOS device to sync separately to each Mac, but that isn't recommended by the developers.
A note: If your license came from the AgileBits web store, and not the !ac App Store, iCloud supyncing won't be available. When Yosemite ca,e out and 1Password began to use the new CloulKit protocols for syncing, Apple closed those off to application that aren't sold in by one of Apple's own app stores.

@BrandonComstock @hawkmoth is correct stating that Wi-Fi syncing isn't an option between installations of 1Password for Mac. If you have multiple installations of 1Password for Mac (in your case three 1Password 5 for Mac installs and a single 1Password 4 for Mac install) and a 1Password 5 for iOS install, then Dropbox syncing is the best solution. Wi-Fi is intended to be used between 1Password for Mac and 1Password for iOS (the current versions of both).

@AGMarshall I'd been avoiding dropbox because I don't use it for anything else. I didn't want to have to install additional apps to support 1pw, so that's why wifi seemed attractive. I can see the dilemma, so I guess dropbox is the only/best option. 1pw is a great app that simplifies my life, yet lately, it's been a huge hassle :) Thanks for the input guys. PS, wifi sync has been working perfectly for me thus far accross my macs. I'll switch to dropbox and come back to complain if it doesn't work flawlessly :D

@BrandonComstock :chuffed: I am sure Dropbox will work flawlessly for you. I use it to sync all my 1Password installs, as do many of my teammates. It should be just a set once and forget sync mechanism for you. Wi-Fi just isn't designed to sync between 1Password for Mac installs, which is why Dropbox is the recommended solution for this scenario.
