Hidden custom fields at Secure notes

Hi,

I am sorry, but I still could not find an answer to some questions here. Are there any possibility to create custom fields (for example at Secure Notes) with the hidden fields, that could only be opened with click on it (like password fields) ?

Best regards,
Alexander.

    Hi @kalend,

Great question, I'm sorry that you weren't able to find an answer by searching around here.

If you would like to create a custom field that is obscured by the bullet points (like passwords) simply click on the ... icon and select 'password' for the field type.

    Does this help?

    Hi Megan,

thanks for your response. Sure, I already tried this type as a start, but in this case I have 2 problems:
    1. Password field could only be one line (I want to use multiline note).
    2. There is special button on this line 'renew password' (in case of password field selected) and it could clicked by mistake and all info from this field will be replaced with 'new generated password'...

    Hi @kalend,

Thanks for the additional information, I think I understand what you mean now - you aren't trying to add an additional password field. Instead, you want to add a new notes field and be able to conceal the text of that note (similar to how a password is concealed). Does that sound right? There's currently no feature to conceal notes fields in 1Password, but we do have an open feature request for that, and I'll be happy to add your comments to let our developers know you're also interested.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you about that, but perhaps we'll be able to add that in the future. If you have more questions or need anything else, please let us know. :)

    Hi Drew,

Sure, you are completely right about my request.
Great thanks for your answer. I think it should be really useful feature. Thanks for planning a feature request for that. You producing really great product, a lot useful things working fine and I hope, that you could implement this feature soon.

    BR,
    Alexander.

You're very welcome, @kalend! I can't make any promises about the feature request of course, and if we do decide to add it, there's no timeframe for when that will happen. But I agree that it could be a very useful feature, and we've heard similar requests from other customers as well, so hopefully we'll be able to add something like that in the future.

Aside from that, I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying 1Password! We're always glad to help, so please let us know if you need anything else. :)
