Trouble syncing from iPhone to Mac

I originally used Ipassword on my IPhone 6 and later bought Ipassword 5 for my MacBook Air running Yosemite. I'm unable to synch and get the following: unable to synch because different primary vault. I can't select my primary vault on my Mac because it's whited out
I also created another vault, but it's empty and I don't know how to transfer all my items to the new vault, which might work, but I'm not sure of that

To help us figure out how to solve the problem, can you please give us a few more details:
- What exact version of Mac OS X are you running?
- What exact version of 1Password do you have on your Mac?
- Are you using the AgileBits Store version or the Mac App Store version of 1Password?
- What exact version of 1Password do you have on your iPhone?
- What sync method are you trying to use (iCloud, Dropbox, Wi-Fi)?
- What are the exact steps you take to set up sync, and where/at what point do you run into the problem?
- What is the exact error message you get when trying to set up sync? Is that on your Mac or iPhone?
- What device/computer has your most up-to-date 1Password information?
- Do you have any data in 1Password on your Mac, or is everything on your iPhone?

OK - here's my best shot at answering your questions: I'm running Yosemite 10.10.3. Mac version of Ipassword is 5.3.2. Not sure whether I'm using the agilebits store or app store version on my phone, but I purchased the macbook license from agilebits itself. The Iphone 6 seems to have version 5.4.2. I'm trying to sync using WiFi and both devices are running on the same WiFi network. I open the synch functions on both the mac and the iphone. The syncing process starts, then I get the following message,"Attempted to sync with a different vault than originally configured." This makes no sense to me since the vaults are apparently the same, although the "primary vault" is whited out on the Iphone. The most up to date info is on my Iphone, but there is the bulk of the data on both.
