iPad cannot "find" iMac to sync
I am new to 1Password. My iPad runs iOS8.3 and my iMac runs OSX10.9.5.
When I try to use my home wifi to sync the two machines, the iPad "cannot find" the iMac.
I hear there are problems with Yosemite and do not want to upgrade the iMac, but do I need to?

Hi @Craig_Oettinger,
I'm sorry you're having some difficulty setting up Wi-Fi sync! You don't need to upgrade your Mac to OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) in order to use Wi-Fi sync, although that would allow you to use 1Password 5 for Mac which has some Wi-Fi improvements.
To help us figure out what's going on, can you let us know some more details:
- What exact version of 1Password is installed on your Mac?
- Are you using the AgileBits Store version or the Mac App Store version of 1Password on your Mac?
- What exact version of 1Password is installed on your iPad?
- What device/computer has your most up-to-date 1Password information?
- What is the exact message you get on your iPad?
- Are your iPad and Mac both on the same Wi-Fi network?
- Have you followed these steps to set up Wi-Fi sync?
Thanks!

Answers to questions from Drew_AG:
version = 1Password 4.4.3 on iMac
1Password on 1Mac bought from Agile Bits store
1Password on iPad bought from Apple iTunes
version - 1Password 5.4.2 on iPad
iMac has most up-to-date 1Password information
Following your link, installation seems to have worked at first, but now I receive a message
"The SAML message is invalid" when I try to use 1Password on my iPad.
Both iMac and iPad are sitting on my dest next to my modum and using the same wi-fi.What is a SAML messaged and what steps do I do to make the 1Password work on my iPad?

Hi @Craig_Oettinger,
I've never seen that message before, so I went straight to the dev and they confirmed what I suspected - that message isn't one of our error messages. By that I mean it isn't an error message encoded in our app.
From Wikipedia's page on Security Assertion Markup Language
The single most important requirement that Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) addresses is web browser single sign-on (SSO).
I've never come across it, everything I know at the moment comes from wikipedia.
Can you try something for us please. Can you try creating an ad-hoc using our guide, How to create an ad-hoc wireless network. I suspect that the error message won't appear or if it does that maybe there is something unusual in your iOS network configuration.
