Visual indicator that 1Password is unlocking
May I please request that in both the 1Password main and helper applications that they show some visual indicator that an unlock is occurring after you press ENTER instead of them sitting there dumbly for five to ten seconds appearing to do nothing. The text box remains active after pressing ENTER, so it truly appears as if they aren't responding to an instruction.
Thank you.

Hi @seeemef,
When you enter your master password to unlock the 1Password app or 1Password mini, you should see a brief animation to indicate the vault is being unlocked. Specifically, the 1Password symbol (keyhole in a circle) will rotate 180 degrees, then the gray screen will split apart horizontally or vertically (depending on if you're unlocking from the main app or mini) to reveal your vault.
Are you not seeing that at all? If not, can you describe exactly what happens/what you see after entering your master password? Is the animation delayed, or do you not see any animation at all?

Yes, when it finally unlocks it shows that animation.
I'm talking about the 24 seconds (just timed) while it's just flashing the cursor indicator before 1Password decides to show that animation and fully unlock.

Hi @seeemef,
The animation should be happening pretty much instantly, it would suggest something is taking far, far longer than we anticipated. So I'd like you to test something out for me please.
I see you're syncing with Dropbox which shouldn't be causing any delays but let's make sure. The first thing I would like you to try, just as control test is if the behaviour is consistently repeatable with the following sequence.
With your vault unlocked you can lock it with the following keyboard shortcut
⌃⌥⌘L
. If you then unlock again immediately is the delay still present and is it consistently do?If it is, that means we can learn a little something from the following.
Can you try disabling Dropbox sync. This is just a temporary thing while we test. Now repeat the steps from above about locking your vault and unlocking again. Is the delay still present or has it gone? After you've tried a couple of times and are confident of the results you can re-enable Dropbox sync. It shouldn't complain at all but you will have to click on a button titled Merge. Don't worry, you know it's all good because you've only disabled syncing moments ago. Normally we wouldn't advise disabling sync but it will help eliminate it as a possible cause of the delay you're experiencing. We'll be interested to hear what you find
