That certainly looks like a mistake. But it will need AgileBits staff to look at your purchases to give you a refund, which they will do in due course.

I would guess that you did not realise the way licenses worked, and thought you needed another.

When you originally bought, you would have got an email with a license file attached. You need to get this file onto your new machine, and then apply it. This can be done either by finding the original email and copying the file across in some way, or by resending your license.

    Hi @imalamb,

You do seem to have an abundance of licences. I have refunded the purchase you made today and you should see it on your statement in a couple of working days. There may have been some confusion as each licence could only have been obtained by visiting out store and making your way through the shopping cart process. Now when you apply a licence only that Mac becomes 'aware' so for each Mac you have you need to apply your existing licence to end the trial mode that 1Password for Mac starts in.

Just so you're aware, a single 1Password for Mac licence covers you and up to 5 family members in the same household for as many Macs as you have between all of you. So the licence is per platform but covers you, a partner and 4 dependents (for example) for as many devices of that platform as you have. If you personally own 4 Macs - they're all covered.

I hope that helps but if you have any questions at all please do ask
