Shortcut for filling in login-data in Chrome doesn't always work
Hello,
in the past few weeks I experience a problem with 1Password. When I want to fill in login-data on websites (eg. dropbox.com), the Shortcut (CMD+#) sometimes doesn't work. The 1Password Mini application in the menu bar then shows "install chrome extension" although it is already installed. I tried to quit and re-open Chrome and did the same with 1Password, but it didn't help. I had to restart my Mac and then it was working again.
I think it is a problem 1Password doesn't make a connection to the Chrome extension. Do you have a solution for this problem?
Thank you and kind regards,
Jonas

Extension Version: 4.3.1.90
OS Version: OS X 10.10.3

Hi @jonasschoen,
I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Chrome extension! Does this seem to be a problem with the same websites each time, or does it sometimes work with those sites? When the keyboard shortcut doesn't work, what happens if you click on the 1Password extension in Chrome's toolbar?
If 1Password mini shows a message about installing the extension, it sounds like there's some sort of connection issue between mini and the extension. In that case, you may be able to solve the problem by following the steps here: Troubleshooting communication issues between 1Password and the extension
Please let us know how it goes, and if it's still a problem, we'll continue from there. Thanks!

Hi,
thank you for the reply. It didn't happen with the same websites each time. I didn't try what happens if I would click on the chrome extension. I will wait until I have the problem again and then try to follow the steps on the page you linked to.
Thank you,
