Trouple exporting Lastpass to csv format file to convert to 1PW

Exporting Lastpass data opens a new web page with export.html file - how do I create a .csv file from this to be imported to 1Password?

    Found this on Lastpass help -

    Exporting from your Online Vault at https://lastpass.com/ will cause your browser to open a tab and display your data in plain text. Copy and paste this data into a plain text file and save the document as .csv file. This information is not stored in your browser's cache. If you use step 2 and find this behavior, this is because the binary component is not installed. I did this with excel - and the import did not work... wonder what I'm doing wrong??

    Hi @kgcope,

    Try this method instead. It is fully documented, and will give you very good results.

    Thank you MrC - I will try this on my PC when I get home later - had trouble on my Mac...most likely user error :-/
    I do appreciate the link & hope to convert to 1Password and get our family in sync.

    No problem. You'll find it simpler to export and convert on the Mac, since it already has the required tools, whereas on Windows you'll have to perform extra steps. The resulting 1pif file can be imported on either platform.
