How to Handle "Two Step" sign in process for financial websites?

Take Washington Federal Bank for example: On the home page there is a "sign In" place for your username. When you enter that, it takes you to a page showing your personal "image and phrase" to be sure you used the correct username, and then you enter your password. I got 1Password to save my password, but not the username part. Do I just have to remember the username and enter it manually?

This process is becoming more common on financial websites, for higher security.

    Hi @jaysher,

We have a page on Using 1Password with login sequences split across multiple pages. It can show you how sites with simple multi-page login pages can be handled by a single Login item but it also covers a backup solution which is to keep two Login items, one per page. Much depends on the website and the pages as two sites are rarely the same. Even those that may seem similar can have massive differences hidden in the HTML. It's why site compatibility is always an ongoing effort.

Does that page help at all?
