UI request for 1Password
Hello support team,
how about bringing back the dark sidebar for users who prefer OS X Yosemite's dark mode? 1Password used to have a dark colored sidebar for years that vanished when Yosemite came out, probably for consistence with the Finder or Mail. But since there are more and more Mac apps (e.g. Fantastical 2, Fontstand, Syncmate, Bleam... etc.) that feature dark sidebars, why not bring it back? I think it would give a much clearer view on hierarchy and would pleasantly balance the increased "level of whiteness" in Yosemite...
And another tiny thing: why isn't the button for "Add Item" in the column for items? I think it used to be there a few versions ago and I always found it confusing that it went to the side under the column for an item's content.
Other than that, I'm quite happy with 1 Password! Keep on rocking!
Regards,
Werner

Hi @arroyodorado,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your feedback & suggestion! Although I can't promise anything, I can certainly let our developers know you'd like a dark sidebar in the main app.
As for the
+
button to add a new item, you're right that it used to be at the bottom of the item list instead of under the item details. I'm sure there was a reason for the change, although I don't know what that reason was. To be honest, I hadn't thought about it until you mentioned it! ;) I'll be happy to pass your feedback along to our developers.Aside from that, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying 1Password! Please let us know if you need anything else. :)

I agree with the original commenter. I just upgraded to 1P5 and, from an eye-candy perspective, it feels like 1P 1.0 :-) I keep looking around thinking that I've missed something or gotten the director's unfinished-cut (ha, ha). This is totally too bland, IMO. Seriously, am I missing some way to change the fonts, change colors, et cetera? Thanks.

Hi @mobius32x,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this, too. It's not currently possible to adjust 1Password user interface elements you've mentioned so you're not missing (as in overlooking) some way to do it. :)
