MAC safari/chrome extension
Hi
Ive searched the forum without success.
I've purchased the IOS plan and wish to see my passwords on my MAC.
Every time i wish to download from the APP store it requires a purchase to proceed?
I tried downloading the extension from your support forum, but my MAC doesn't recognise the application ( Perhaps because 1Password isn't downloaded?)
Previously i downloaded the application with a trial for my MAC, (and extension did work), but it wouldn't sync via Icloud?
They were two separate vaults with two separate accounts.
I've tried everything with no success. please help

Hi @shahab121,
I'm sorry for any confusion about all that! 1Password is licensed separately on each supported platform, which means the Mac and iOS versions of 1Password are sold separately. Because Mac computers and iOS devices run different operating systems, they use different apps. We aren't able to sell 1Password for Mac and iOS together as a bundle because Apple doesn't currently provide a way of doing so. You can find more information about how 1Password is licensed here: What licenses do I need to use 1Password on all my devices?
1Password 5 for Mac is available from the AgileBits Store or the Mac App Store. The main difference is that iCloud sync is only available in the Mac App Store version (both versions support Dropbox and Wi-Fi sync). We have more information about the difference between the Mac App Store and AgileBits Store versions here: Should I buy 1Password from the AgileBits Store or the Mac App Store?
If you were previously using a trial of 1Password on your Mac, you would have downloaded that from our website. That didn't have the iCloud sync option since that's only available in the Mac App Store version. That's because it uses Apple's new CloudKit technology, which can only be used by apps sold through Apple's App Store. We have more information about that in these knowledgebase articles:
Why does iCloud require iOS 8, OS X 10.10, and the Mac App Store?
I do not see the option to sync with iCloud in 1Password for Mac
So, if you'd like to use iCloud sync in 1Password, you'll need to purchase 1Password for Mac from the Mac App Store. If you have some data in the trial version from our website, that should migrate to the Mac App Store version, and we have more details about that here: Switching to the version of 1Password from the Mac App Store
Again, I'm sorry for any confusion! But hopefully this helps to clear that up. If you have more questions or need help, just let us know - we're here for you! :)
