Sharing Mac App Store version with family members. Can I get a license file to share?
I purchased the Mac App Store version of 1Password a while ago. I've since tried sharing my vault with my wife, but her trial expired on the AgileBits Store version. It doesn't seem like I can share my Mac App Store version with her because she has her own Apple ID, and it also seems like I can't get a license file and switch to the AgileBits store version. Is there a solution for this? Can I get a license file so we can both use it?
Thanks!

1Password from the Mac App Store is eligible for Family Sharing, which covers up to six members of the same family. If you set that up and add your wife to the family group, she will be able to download a copy from the Mac App Store too.
If you have decided you want the AgileBits web store version, you'll need to see if Apple will issue a refund. AgileBits doesn't receive any information about who has purchased their software from Apple. You could ask Apple for a refund by clicking on the link to report a problem that's in your purchase receipt. Whether you are successful will probably depend somewhat on when you bought your license, since the official policy is no refunds. Also, know that if you do receive a refund from Apple, you likely won't be able to purchase a copy from them in the future. Also, if iCloud syncing is important to you, the Mac App Store version is the only one with that option available.

Awesome, I didn't know you could do that. I got the license working on both of our computers, but it looks like something isn't quite right with iCloud syncing. It appears that my 1Password vault is being synced to only my iCloud account, and her vault is being synced with her iCloud. Is there a way for her to sync to my iCloud account instead now that we're part of Family Sharing?

Actually, it looks like this question is already answered. I'll use Dropbox syncing instead.
Thanks for your help!

Yes, as you say. Apple does not permit sharing of iCloud data between users with different AppleIDs. Dropbox works well.
It's good to learn that Family Sharing worked for you.

Hi @mattkoskela,
I'm glad hawkmoth was able to help you with that! If you need any help to set up vault sharing via Dropbox sync, please take a look at this knowledgebase article. Hopefully that helps, but if you have questions about that, please let us know. :)
