Sync problem Mac and iOS: different vault than originally configured
I haven't been able to sync between iOS ver 5 and OS 10.10.3 Yosemite for quite a while and now I am getting nervous. On the phone, I select start syncing with WiFi and select my iMac, the secret is already there and I select Sync Now. The Sync problem message is "Attempted to sync with a different vault than originally configured." More Info gives Error Domain Code = 7027.
The iMac is running is running 1Password 5 and is at the latest update.
I turned off the firewall. Both are on the same network. But the data on the iMac is older than the version on the phone. I am afraid to lose the newer version.
1Password Version: 5.3.2
Extension Version: 4.3.1
OS Version: 10.10.3
Sync Type: Wifi

Hi @poinsot,
I'm sorry you're getting that error message when you try to sync! You can find information about that error message (as well as a solution) in this knowledgebase article.
Hopefully that solves the problem, but please let us know if you need more help. We're here for you! :)

Same problem. My old iMac died, bought a new iMac want to sync 1Password from iPhone to new iMac. I keep getting
Attempted to sync with a different vault than originally configured (iOS) error. I tried to reconfigure Wi-Fi Sync solution but I don't see the option to click "sync Service Wi-Fi" to disable the sync. When I click the sync icon in settings on my iPhone it goes to the start syncing option.thoughts?

Hi @joshgrubbs,
I'm sorry you're having some trouble with that! From your description, it sounds like no sync options are currently enabled in 1Password on your iPhone, which is why you only see a "Start Syncing" option in the sync settings. In that case, you should be able to set up Wi-Fi sync by following the steps in our user guide.
Let us know how that goes. If you run into any problems, please describe the step that isn't working as described, and exactly what happens instead. Thanks! :)

I already tired those steps which is when I got the error mentioned in my previous post (Attempted to sync with a different vault than originally configured (iOS) error) Searching the message board the solution mentioned was to reconfigure the Wi_Fi sync but like I said before I don't see the option to click "sync service wifi to disable the sync.
Any other thoughts?

Hi @joshgrubbs,
If Wi-Fi Sync isn't currently enabled then you've pretty much gone as far as you can with the first potential solution. At this stage your next option is to Reinstall from the App Store. Please do read the steps carefully and don't proceed if you don't have your data elsewhere i.e. on the Mac you normally sync. The second solution is a more powerful route but obviously it's nicer for you as the user if the easier way works. Sadly it hasn't for you. Please do keep us updated and if you have questions do please ask before proceeding.
