After working several months with no problems, I get an online banking offline.
It says version one in Apple apps. I emailed earlier how do I get the latest version, seeing as I have just bought it. I also verbally complained to Apple. No resolution from either of you?

Hi @siew!
We haven't been on version 1 of 1Password for Mac in quite some time indeed. I'm not even sure if the very earliest versions of 1Password would even run on Yosemite, and we've certainly not tested that far back. Are you sure you're reading the version number from the correct place?
I'd like you to open 1Password and choose About from the 1Password menu. You should see the version number of 1Password clearly labeled in the small window that pops up. Is it truly version 1? Or is it something more recent?

Sorry, I was very tired when I sent that email. The version number is 5. I found where to upgrade to the current version. I will try that and reregister with my bank and give it a try. If I have anymore problems, I will email you. Thank you for your help.

It probably would help if you described more precisely what you do when trying to log in to your online banking site. Are of opening a web page? Are you using the 1password extension to automatically fill and submit your username and password? If so, what happens? Maybe you are copying and pasting your username from 1Password into the appropriate boxes to log in, then clicking on a submit button. If so, what happens? Can you log in to your banking site manually, by typing in your username and your password. If that doesn't work, it seems unlikely that 1Password itself is the issue.
Answers to those questions, and a step by step description of what you do and what happens will help get you the support you need.

Hi @siew,
We will certainly try to work with you but to ensure a speedy service for you it will help us immensely if you can supply as much information as possible, bearing in mind these are public forums. At the moment we can ascertain that you're having trouble logging into your internet banking but as you can imagine, that still leaves a very large number of possibilities.
We know you're running 1Password 5 for Mac now but it would also help if we knew what your default browser was and the URL in question for customers of this bank to log in. Even those two details will give us a place to start while right now anything we say would be mere guesses.

I can log into My wellfargo bank manually. I use IPassword to give both my user name and password and it worked great until a month ago. My default browser in Safaria and the URL is wellsfargo.com. I have also down loaded the Safari browser extensions . My wife's name is Siew, but you are talking to Fred. My question is what changed? Did we have a solfware upgrade? I don't know and I am hoping you do.

Usually behavior like you've reported means that something has changed in how the web page is working. You may not even be able to detect the difference. In cases like those, try following the direction to save a login manually, here. Your experience isn't because of any changes in 1Password.

Hi @siew (Fred),
I tried creating a test Login item by following our How to manually save a Login guide and it successfully filled in both the username and password on my machine. Now I can't test submitting this filled form as I'm not an account holder there but everything looks like it should run.
Now for the sake of comparison I'm running the following
- OS X 10.10.3 with 1Password 5.3
- Safari 8.0.6 with the 1Password Safari Extension 4.3.1
To help compare you might find the following links useful.
- Which version of 1Password am I running?
- How to find which version of the 1Password extension is installed
Please let us know if saving a new Login item helps. What you can find is even if a web page doesn't look any visibly different to us as the user that changes underneath might mean the existing Login item you have doesn't work as well as it once did. Often saving a new Login item can help so it's definitely worth a shot.
