Changing entries to correct category
I'm new and I loaded all my urls into Login category. How do I separate out my banks and other urls and put them into the right category?

You'll need to do those transfers manually. There isn't a way to just move records from one category to another. If you think about, it wouldn't be simple to just move them without editing, since the fields included in Aachen category type are quite different. It isn't straightforward to map fields in one category to another.

Hi @azaleabindery,
Sadly hawkmoth is correct, currently the only way is to create a new item of the target type and manually copy everything over. One tip I saw recently is to open up 1Password mini (the keyboard shortcut
⌥⌘\
is one way) and locate the item you intend to move. With the item details visible you can click on the anchor button in the bottom left hand corner to keep the item visible on the screen. For a bit more on this our page 1Password mini may prove useful. While not great, anchoring the item will allow you to more easily create a new item in the main 1Password window and copy and paste the data over from the old item to the new item of the correct type. Hopefully you find that helpful in lieu of the ability to change an items category.

Sorry we couldn't offer better suggestions @azaleabindery and I hope the task isn't too daunting.

For what it's worth ... and certainly not trying to tell you what you should do...
I recently solved my own issues with grouping "logins" based on suggestions by littlebobbytables.
See the discussion entitled: "Many logins makes drop-down menu too long" that stared on 6/3/15By setting up 1P-tags such as: "accounts", "banks", "clients" "creditcards", ... "utilities", etc." I easily re-grouped a fairly large number of "logins" for easier access via the 1P-mini menu.

Thanks @Lamplighter! I also use Tags for a lot of my items in 1Password, they can be very useful for grouping together items from different categories that are associated with each other.
