I started using in April 2014 and slowly added a few sites, unimportant ones because I got locked out of several. When I change the log in information for some it created multiple log in links. Now I'm adding more important ones and it's creating a huge mess. I just created the log in for my bank. It doesn't work like the others do. When I click on the bank website link in 1password, it only goes to the site, it doesn't automatically fill in in the log in information (like my other sites do). Because it doesn't fill in, now I can't log on to the bank site from my iphone at all. I use Mac osx 10.9.5, I have no idea how to tell what is on my iphone or what version of 1password. I'm in over my head and I need real help before I get locked out of something important.

1Password Version: don't know how to tell
Extension Version: don't know how to tell
OS Version: osx10.9.5
Sync Type: Dropbox (i think???)

    Hi @summitday113,

Let's start with how to tell what version of 1Password you're running on your Mac and iOS device. This can be important as we will want to make sure what we tell you applies.

    1. Which version of 1Password for Mac am I running?
    2. Which version of 1Password for iOS am I running?
    3. As it also relates to filling the extension version could be useful to know, for this please see How to find which version of the 1Password extension is installed

Now banks are notoriously difficult for us because testing them is really difficult. The likes of Amazon or Google are easy because if needed we can create a test account and make sure everything works out. Creating test accounts at even just the main banks is far from easy. Still, if we know which bank (and the URL) that you're having trouble with that could help us. It might be we've already helped somebody with that particular internet banking site.

Now even if you're having trouble with the 1Password Browser Extension don't forget you can always copy and paste usernames and passwords from the main 1Password window to your browser or reveal the password in 1Password if needed. Obviously you want the extension working and we will do our best to assist you but should it not be behaving as expected you should still be able to access your websites. That said, once you've posted back with that information we'll hopefully be in a better position to help
