How do I delete old passwords

JUst select the items and use the backspace key to move them to the trash. If you are sure enough that they will not be wanted again, you can empty the trash from the 1PW menu.

Thanks--That seems simple enough and I will try ghat. I'm curious as to why this important editing option does not merit inclusion in the User Guide?

Hi @fbloom ,
I'm glad to hear that you've found the answer that you were looking for!

Wherever possible, we follow the same conventions as the operating system. Deleting items in 1Password works the same as deleting items in Finder, for example. You can either use the 'delete' key, or select the items, right-click and choose 'Move to Trash'.
That being said, if you've had this question, it is likely that other users have as well. I'll let our documents team know that you'd like to see this included in our Guides.

Fair enough-- it wasn't obvious to me but it definitely does work.

You can also drag records to the 1Password trash, just like in the operating system.

We're glad you were able to get the answer(s) you needed here, @fbloom, and thanks for your suggestion for this addition to the User Guide. Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with to get the most out of 1Password, and in the meantime, have a great week! :)
