Reinstalling Chrome extension for v3 [Not recommended nor supported]

Hi, I have 1Password version 3, and I'm trying to re-add the Chrome extension. I've tried to install 1Password-3.9.21.90.crx by dropping into the extensions page, but Chrome won't accept because not from Chrome web store. Can you advise please.
