Auto-submit no longer works in Firefox, but works great in Chrome

OSX 10.10.3 (14D136)
Firefox 38.0.5
1Password for Mac 5.3.2 (532001)
1Password Firefox Extension 4.3.1

Auto-submit doesn't work. The form fields are "filled" correctly, but no matter which website I'm on, the submit never works. This started happening a few versions of Firefox ago (nearly 3 months ago).

Here are the things I've tried (no particular order):

  • Removing the FF Extension and re-installing
  • Upgrading to the latest 1P for Mac

Auto-submit works great in Chrome, which leads me to believe that something is corrupt in the Firefox add-on data store or cache.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us. I'm a little surprised things aren't working for you, because on my own MacBook Air, that's the exact same setup I'm currently using: 38.0.5 with Firefox extension 4.3.1 and 1Password for Mac version 5.3.2. Auto-submit is working fine for me, which leads me to believe it's something with your particular setup. Have you tried auto-submit with Safari, and does that also work, or does it give you problems?

    Either way, I'd like you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac and send it to us via email. Please do not post your diagnostics report information here in the forums, but do include a link to this thread when you send it via email to support+forums@agilebits.com

    We'll take a look and let you know what we find out via email.

    Not sure if it matters, but I'm using a Macbook Pro Retina.

    I don't use Safari, but I do use Chrome often. Auto-submit works in Chrome. It's just Firefox (my primary browser) that has this problem.

    I'll send the report.

    I wasn't able to find your email & diagnostic report when I searched for the email address associated with your forum account. If you haven't sent it yet, that's no problem at all! :) There's no rush, I just wanted to make sure we received it if you had already sent it.
