restore text backup

Hi @BAMvsGAME ,
Do you mean you did an export as either Comma Delimited Text or Tab Delimited Text, and are trying to import from that? If so, that would not be the recommended approach.
1Password periodically makes its own backups - you'll want to Restore from one of those (and you should force your own backup when you need one immediately).

Hi @BAMvsGAME,
If you can let us know some more details about the text file you created on Windows, we should be able to give you some more help with that. Ideally, you would have wanted to export your vault in the .1pif format, and on your Mac you can import from that file using File > Import in the main 1Password app.
Do you still have access to that Windows PC with your 1Password data? If so, another option might be to set up Dropbox sync, which would make it very easy to sync that data to 1Password on your Mac.
Alternately, you can use one of the 1Password backup files from Windows, but it uses a different backup format than the Mac version so there are a couple extra steps involved. The backup files on Windows end in ".agilekeychain_zip" and if you copy one of those to your Mac and change that to ".agilekeychain.zip" (i.e. change the underscore to a period), you can use the Folder sync option in 1Password for Mac in order to sync the data from that file into your vault.
We can go into more detail if that helps, but as I wasn't sure exactly what you were trying to do, I thought I'd briefly mention a few options. Please let us know if you need more help to get your 1Password data transferred to your Mac - we're here for you! :)
