HI there, still using Mavericks on my machine. Just installed 1password Version 4, if I want to buy license only version5 is available to buy. what can I do ?

    The license file that registers 1Password 5 is identical to the one for version 4. Buy the version 5 license and you'll be good to go. And when you decide to update to Yosemite, you'll also be ready for that. The upgrade from version 4 to version 5 is free.

    Thanks for your interest in 1Password 4! Hawkmoth is exactly right, you can use the 1Password 5 license to register your version 4 app.

    After you buy it, you'll receive an email with your receipt and license information. In that email, under 1Password 5 for Mac, you should see a link that says "Click here to apply your 1Password license." When you click that link (with 1Password 4 running and unlocked), it will open a page in your default browser which automatically downloads and applies your license to 1Password. Additionally, your license file will be stored within 1Password in the Software Licenses category for safekeeping.
