Can we make 1Password stop asking to save 2-factor logins (make it recognize 2-factor systems)?
I am shifting more and more online services and accounts to using 2-factor authentication, where I log in using 1Password and then the site sends me a second temporary code to complete the log-in. But 1Password keeps asking me if I want to save the temporary codes, and it's a pain in the butt because I have to move the cursor to "Not Now" each time I use a different 2-factor login system. Can 1Password be made smart enough to recognize this process and stop asking me if I want to save a temporary code?

Hi John,
To make sure I understand, are you using 1Password to generate time-based one-time passwords for those sites? If not, you might be interested in this user guide article: Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP)
I'm not actually sure if that will make a difference as far as getting those prompts from 1Password about saving a new Login, as it depends on the circumstances. Does this happen with every site where you need to enter a temporary code to sign in? Or just some? Are you being asked for those codes on the same page as your username/password, or a different page?
It may also be helpful if you can let us know some additional details about your setup:
- What exact version of Mac OS X are you running?
- What exact version of the 1Password app is installed?
- Are you using the AgileBits Store version or the Mac App Store version of 1Password?
- What web browser are you using, and what version?
- What version of the 1Password extension is installed in your browser?
- Can you let us know any examples of sites where this is happening?
Thanks!
