What's the backup file signature?

My MBP was formatted by an apple store staff and he didn't backup the vault for me. :(
I tried to recover my file, but I'm not sure what is the correct file signature.

Thank you

    Hi @Sinderelal,

I'm sorry to hear your MacBook Pro was reformatted without a new backup! I'm not quite sure what you mean about the "signature", but do you have an older backup of your Mac that you're trying to use to restore your 1Password data? If you have a backup of your Mac, you should be able to find your 1Password data on it, or one of the backup files automatically made by the 1Password app. We have information about where 1Password stores its data here: Where does 1Password store its data?

In the backup of your Mac, you should be able to find the Backup files, as described in that article. If you have trouble finding it, can you let us know what sort of backup you have (for example, Time Machine)?

If you don't have any backup of your Mac, had you been using one of the sync options in 1Password, like Dropbox or iCloud? Do you have your 1Password data on any other device? If so, you should be able to sync that data back to 1Password on your Mac. Just let us know, thanks!
