Remnent Database left on iCloud that I can't find

PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!!

I have been fighting this issue for months now. Ever since the conversion to iCloud drive, I think I have an old legacy copy of the iCloud sync database from 1password left somewhere on my iCloud account that I can't seem to find to delete, which is causing LOADS Of problems for me.

If I install 1Password for Mac from the app store, it can't find the database, because apparently its not directly in the documents and data portion of iCloud drive. So when I create a new database it does it correctly. However, my iOS 1Password app DOES see the remnant of the database on iCloud, which it can't connect to because it seems to be corrupt or something. Which means I have absolutely no syncing going on, because the only way I can use 1Password on my phone and tablet is to create yet another database, So now I have two separate databases. One on my workstations, and another that sync's between my mobile devices. Which is a complete pain.

How do I KNOW this is the case? Because if I remove 1Password from the app store, and install the 1Password app sold directly through your store, it DOES see the old database, and wants to use it, and actually does download the database information, but since your app that is sold through you doesn't have iCloud sync, it will NOT allow me to delete or reset the data that it sees, and I've tried to download and install 1Password 4 to see if I can do it with that version, but it fails to see the database in iCloud.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hey GUYS... SOMEONE, I need some help. Even when I try to delete everything 1password, and then try to create a new vault from my iPhone, hoping it will over write whatever is there, it still fails to create the iCloud sync for the same damn reasons. It says failed to fetch some record zones, 1 password encountered a problem Well no duh. Thats why I was trying to create a new vault, and it won't even allow me to do that.

I NEED ASSISTANCE ASAP!!!!! This is CRITICAL to me, otherwise you guys are going to completely lose me as a loyal and faithful customer, since your app won't allow me to do ANYTHING right now.

    @kamazadi ,

Sorry to hear of your issues. This isn't an area I know much about, so I'll ping the AgileBits folks to see if you can get some love on this. They've been pretty busy putting out fires I believe. Hold tight...

I can't help with the major issue, as I don't know enough about it.

But, as regards the "record zones" issue, see [Status Update] iCloud: Failed to fetch some record zones

It is an unresolved problem at present, probably due to something at Apple's end. The AgileBits people are working to deal with it.

    Hi @kamazadi,

We're so sorry you're having such trouble with your 1Password data and iCloud! And apologies for the few hours delay in answering you here today. For such a widely-used app, we're a fairly small company, and our support team tries to respond to customers from oldest to newest, more or less, and it's been a very busy few days. I'm sorry it got to the point that you've been fighting with this for months before you came to us for help. However, we're glad that you did, and we'll be happy to help you sort this out. For now, please don't create any more new vaults while we help you work through this.

First, I'd like to show you our support article on how to get rid of duplicate 1Password entries in iCloud Drive.

As Danco mentioned, it sounds like you are also encountering a known iCloud sync problem that we learned about yesterday. We're posting status updates on this issue in the iOS forum here:
[Status Update] iCloud: Failed to fetch some record zones

It sounds like you have 1Password on one Mac and one iPhone; is this accurate, or are there other devices you use 1Password with? I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices, so that we can get a closer view of what you're working with. Here's how to create and send us those reports:

    —Mac—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the Report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

Just to clarify, AgileBits isn't able to access or 'reset' iCloud data, as this is a service owned and operated by Apple. But we will do anything that is within our power to help! :)
