Question about the 1Password version I'm using...

I'm using a MacBook Air with 1Password5. This version pops up when I open the program. However, when I open Safari and click on Safari Preferences, it shows 1Password 4.3.1 as the extension. Should I be seeing 5 instead of 4.3.1?

Also, I'm using the El Capitan beta and after several updates, 1Password5 seems to be working great with this beta. And that's good news for me.

The current 1P version number and the current 1P browser extension numbers are not the same, so it's nothing to worry about.

    Hi @Starflyer,

I'm just here really to confirm what Stephen_C has already said. The extension is developed at a different pace from the application and the extension is actually platform agnostic, working not just for Macs but Windows too so the versioning will rarely match. The only time it's important is if the extension is v3 which only works for 1Password 3 for Mac - a very different approach. Assuming you still have the default of Safari downloading updates for the extensions you should be fine

Glad to hear you're not having any issues with El Capita
