    Hi @firefly55,

We would actively discourage you from syncing directly to a network storage device. The reason why is based on the notifications we can get, 1Password struggles with the disconnection of networked shares say in contrast to a flash drive being removed from the system. If a network share isn't available I believe 1Password can seem like it has hung while it waits for the timeout to occur and that's isn't very friendly for you. Now you could combine the likes of ChronoSync with a WD MyCloud if you wish and that should work although it is deemed more a power user area. What I'm suggesting is you would use Folder Sync to a location on your local drive and then use ChronoSync to keep this synchronised with your network device. 1Password will behave much better and essentially this is how both iCloud and Dropbox work too - local space queried directly and the service ensures the local copy is up to date.

Now I know Synology devices have a Dropbox-esque service meaning they can use just the Synology software and maybe Western Digital have something too, I just haven't found it in my brief inspection of their site.

Let us know how you get along and if you have any further questions do please ask

With the new release of OS 3.0 by WD would it not make sense to sync with MyCloud now having the data on your network, i.e. cloud instead of DropBox for example? Wouldn't an integration into 1Password make sense?
    Regards,

    Hi Ian ( @IanDuc ),

We're always looking for new sync solutions to make security simple for our users! Unfortunately, integrating new sync solutions is no simple process - especially since we offer 1Password across so many platforms. For the time being, Little Bobby's suggestion of using Folder Sync to a local folder and a secondary sync solution to move that data into the cloud or your networked device is still the best option.
