Can I add an Identity to my Favorites menu bar?
I have several of my Logins as bookmarks on my Safari bookmarks Favorites bar so that logging in is a one-click process. Can I somehow do that with an Identity so that I can have one-click autofill?

Hi @martinliss,
Sadly I can't think of any one click trick you can use to achieve this. I know what you've done so far with the Login items is possible and unless you're a Alfred user I'm suitably impressed you managed that as it isn't something I would say is intuitive from the standard UI. The trick there is the extension knows to look for a certain field being present to indicate open and fill was initiated from the main 1Password window. That won't work with an Identity as you aren't trying to load a page and then fill, you want to fill on the already loaded page and Credit Card and Identity items don't have open and fill as that's purely used with Login items.
You're probably already aware you can flag certain items as favourites so they appear in the favourite submenu of the 1Password mini but that isn't one click and may not be significantly different from just visiting the Identities submenu itself. I am sorry I don't have better options to present.

Thanks. I can't take credit for knowing about putting the Login in my Favorites bar. An AgileBits person told me about it - perhaps Dave Teare in one of his missives to new users.
In any case as a future enhancement how about a second button here for autofill?

Hi @martinliss,
We can certainly consider it. I can't say if it will or will not make the cut (we have a lot of requests as I'm sure you can imagine) but until then, hopefully the use of the Favourites won't mean too many mouse movements or keyboard usage.
One thing we'd have to consider is would we want a configurable button for people with multiple Identity items or if it would only work if you had one. Both would have there pros and cons in terms of ease and power of the feature.

Could you create a default identity and use that one when the button was pressed? (No need to reply).

Thanks for your request! I'm sure a "default identity" is something we could consider, if we implement a feature like that. As littlebobbytables mentioned, we can't make any promises about that, but we can certainly send your feedback along to our developers.
For now, hopefully marking an Identity item as a favorite will be helpful. If you need anything else, just let us know. :)
