syncing 1pw 5 on mac with 1pw pro on my ios devices

I purchased 1pw 3 direct from agile bits. Just upgraded to 1pw 5 trial. Can I sync with the apps on my ios devices? Do I have to buy app from apple to do this?

1Password Version: 5.3.1 mac; 5.4.2 ios devices
Extension Version: 4.3.1 mac ; pro on devices

    You have to buy from the App Store if you want to use iCloud sync, due to Apple's restrictions. For the same reason, if you buy from the App Store, you can't get a discount for having 1PW3 already.

    Dropbox sync is available on all versions (and all platforms), and many of us, including most AgileBits staff, are happy with it.

    As you have 1PW3 already, you can get a discount to upgrade to 1PW5 if you buy direct from AgileBits.

    There is a sale on at present (both App Store and direct purchase), though it may not last long. I am not sure how the sale price compares with the upgrade discount for direct purchase.

    Hi @midgedeb,

    Danco is spot-on! iCloud sync is only available in the Mac App Store version, but the AgileBits Store version (which you currently have installed) can still sync with the iOS version using Dropbox or Wi-Fi sync.
