Enter just part of passwords

Some banks ask for password in a special way where they ask you for 2nd, 5th, 10th letter instead of whole password. with long and hard passwords this is a pain. I see two ways:
1. Give us an overview under the password in 1password so that we can easily see which letter, number etc is which letter in password - I guess easiest to implement for you (and a nice feature regardless)
2. Fill it for us.. which I guess is a bit harder.

You can take a look at the screenshot how it looks or go to: https://start.ingbusinessonline.pl/ing/do/ggLoginAlias

This has come up so many times! Putting the password in the notes in groups of five, such as abcde fghij klmno, works for me.

I understand and I can "live" with it. But having numers directly under passwords is a quick and easy fix.

    Hi Przemysław,

Thanks for your request & feedback about this! Our developers are looking into possible ways to handle that. My understanding (and as you already guessed) is that it's incredibly difficult to fill random characters of a password. So in the short-term, the most likely solution for this will probably be to make it easier to tell which character is which, like your first suggestion. That's not to say filling will never be an option of course - I'm just speculating which feature we're likely to have first.

For now, there are a few workarounds suggested in this discussion which might be helpful for you.

Hopefully we'll be able to come up with something better in the future. If you have more questions or need anything else, please let us know. :)

Thanks, I would be happy with first option :-) I do understand the 2nd one is hard one.
