Automatic login fails but copy/paste works?
I log into a website where if I press the 1Password button and select the credentials for the site, submission fails. curiously though, if I copy the password from 1Password and paste it into the website, it works! what could be wrong?

I'm sorry you're having trouble with one of your Login items!
If it works when you copy & paste your login credentials, but not when you have the extension fill them for you, please follow these steps to save a new Login for that site. Does the new Login item work correctly?

incidentally, I love 1Password. it's without doubt one of the most useful software tools I run. good job with it

You're very welcome @ekkis, I'm glad that took care of the problem! If that Login item was previously working, then something probably changed on the website itself. Following those steps to save a new Login allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page, so that can be a useful troubleshooting tip.
