Why aren't login and password being filled on websites when I'v selected "open and fill"?
I've tried using "open and fill" option for several websites. The website opens but login and password information is not filled in. This is on my MacBook Pro. Haven't tried yet on my other devices.

Just to clarify, does that apply to all logins you have in 1Password or to only some of them?
It would also be helpful if you'd tell us:
- What browser you are using
- The 1Password Browser Extension version

Hi @auntietut,
If you haven't already you would want to install our 1Password Browser Extensions and you can find out more on what this is from our page, Installing browser extensions. The Browser Extension is needed as we cannot communicate with the browser directly. Instead you install our extension and it acts as the bridge between the browser and 1Password mini.
Now if you have the extension already installed we're obviously looking at something quite different as the cause. If that is the case could you give an example website that is having this problem and maybe post the URL that you have stored in the Login item, assuming it doesn't reveal anything obvious. The way that open and fill works is that the page loaded has to be the login page and one that doesn't require any human intervention to show the correct fields. So if you have to click somewhere to open a small window on the page then open and fill won't be able to work. We do try to work with as many website designs out there as we can but as you can imagine, it's very much a cat and mouse affair given the wide range of designs possible.
Regardless, we will work with you until we've figured out what is happening
