How can I stop the process?
The deleting process in the trash doesn't stop by itself. I wanted to delete about 20 passwords, which were in the trash. But the wheel keeps on turning ... and does not end.

Which wheel are you referring to, please? Please also tell us what version of 1P for Mac you are using.

Thank you very much for your support. I am using version 5.3 from Mac App Store on an imac early 2008 OS X Yosemite (10.3.3). I am referring to the wheel from the Mac operating system which indicates that there is some working going on in the background, s. attachment.

Thanks very much for the additional information it's very helpful. Have you tried:
- quitting and re-starting 1P; or (if that doesn't help)
- rebooting?
I'm guessing one or other of those may fix the problem.

Hi @HElsen,
Did the suggestions from Stephen help at all? I haven't been able to reproduce the problem you described, but I noticed that in your screenshot, the Trash in 1Password appears to be empty. Is it possible the Trash is being emptied correctly, but you still see that spinning wheel (like in your screenshot)? If so, and if 1Password seems to still work correctly otherwise, that could just be a UI glitch. But if 1Password does not work correctly while that wheel is still spinning, that's a problem. Please let us know, thanks!

Hi@Drew_AG,
The Trash is being emptied correctly and 1Password seems to still work correctly otherwise, so that it could just be a UI glitch. After having turned off the computer for a few hours and now restarting it and 1Password, the spinning wheel was no longer there in the trash.By the way I'd like to change my user name. How do I manage that, because in the profile preferences it is grayed out and can't be edited.

Hi @HElsen,
That definitely sounds like it's just a UI glitch. I'm not sure if we've heard of that happening before, but I can let our developers know in case they're able to track that down and fix it. Otherwise, it sounds like it shouldn't cause any problems for you.
We'll be happy to help you change your forum username! I'll send you a private message shortly after this, so we can take care of it that way.
