Merge two accounts (one trial version accidentally downloaded and now trial has expired.)

I inadvertently downloaded a trial version of 1password on my second computer. So there is a primary vault shared to my second computer AND a primary account shared from my second computer to my first. The trial just expired and now it is asking me to purchase, but I already purchased for the first computer. How do I merge these?

Thanks for contacting us today, and sorry about the confusion. We'll be happy to help you get this sorted out.

I didn't find any licenses from our store registered to the email address in your forum profile. Did you buy 1Password from the Mac App Store previously? If you've forgotten, check the version info in 1Password on your first computer and see if it says Mac App Store.

If you did buy it from the Mac App Store, your license is tied to your Apple ID. Go ahead and install 1Password from the Purchases tab of the App Store on your second computer and follow this guide: Switching to the version of 1Password from the Mac App Store

Just to clarify, do you have two separate vaults, or one vault synced across both computers via Dropbox? When you look in your Dropbox folder, how many .agilekeychain files are there?

You're welcome! We actually don't have access to any transactions through the Mac App Store, only Apple does, but if that is indeed where you bought it, then you should be able to reinstall it there for free. No rush, we'll be around when you get to it, but I look forward to hearing how it goes for you. :)
