How to delete an item from "favorites"
When deleting a favorite why does it delete it from other categories? I deleted a credit card from “favorites” without knowing this. It would be nice if there was some kind of warning. How does one get rid of a favorite?

Hi @GarnBar,
It's best to look at Favourites merely as a view of some of our items. The items don't exist in a Favourites folder, just that they are also visible here. That's why deleting isn't simply removing the item from Favourites, delete always means delete from vault.
What you're looking for is to click on the yellow star which you can find in the Item Details pane. Basically you un-favourite an item in the same way you would flag one as being a favourite - the star is a toggle switch in that sense.
As for a warning, can I ask how you deleted it? If I press the backspace key I get a confirmation message asking if I want to move the item to Trash. If I right click on an item the menu option is Move to Trash Knowing your process will help us going forward

I right clicked & moved to trash.
Why don’t credit cards in the Credit Card Category have fields for a password, username, email, etc.. Whats the purpose of having a credit card category if one can not use the info to log-in or pay for an item?0 -

1P does fill in information using a credit card item. See this extract from the 1P for Mac user guide:

Hi @GarnBar,
Why don’t credit cards in the Credit Card Category have fields for a password, username, email, etc.
You actually can add custom fields to an item if you want to, like so, but if you're wanting to add the username and password to login to the site for your credit card's bank, that would be best saved as a Login item. Credit Card items exist for the purpose of helping you fill in your credit card info to purchase something.
Here's a bit of explanation about each type of item Category, which may help clarify some differences.
