Information ends up repeated multiple times in secure note

Whenever I update a secure note on my phone, I end up with all information in the note duplicated (or triplicated, etc.). All the information in the note will be repeated multiple times. It's been happening for as long as I've been using 1P and is a huge pain to clean up as it's very difficult to tell which information in the note is the newest. How do I avoid this?

    Hi @jaked.902,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble here. We have heard reports of this bug earlier in the life of 1Password 5, but our internal issue tracker says that it has been resolved for the most current versions. You mention using 1Password 5.3, is that the version number of your Mac or your iOS device? If you're looking for the version number of 1Password for iOS, you can find it on the Settings screen, just below the 'Recommend 1Password' option. I'd love to confirm those version numbers, if you're still noticing this in the most recent versions, we'll need to investigate further.

I'm using the most recent versions of your software on all devices. iOS version is 5.4.3 OS X version is 5.3 This most recently occurred immediately before I started this string, the note in question was not syncing, once it finally did, it appeared duplicated (no conflict warning. So, the issue has not been solved.

    Hi @jaked.902,

Thanks so much for confirming those details for me! It sounds like this issue is reproducible for you, so we should be able to get to the bottom of this fairly quickly. But I'll need your help.

The next time you notice that your note content has been duplicated, I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —Mac—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the reports we should be able to see where things are getting tangled up. Thanks very much!
