Kohl's Department Stores, Inc.
I have had a very frustrating afternoon trying to get a new account set up on Kohl's Department Stores web site. After setting up a new account and being denied access several times, I finally got on the phone with their customer service and found out that there are two separate web sites with separate user names and passwords. One is kohls.com (for buying things) and the other is credit.kohls.com (for payments, etc.). I kept entering the wrong password in the wrong site. The kohls.com site requires that the user name be the same as your e-mail address. The credit.kohls.com site requires a user name that is NOT your e-mail address. I got confused. Unfortunately 1Password5 gets confused too. Even though I have the two different logins and passwords saved separately now, 1Password5 switches my login info to the one I don't want to use (kohls.com) when trying to log in to (credit.kohls.com), and I can't log in. Does anyone have a suggestion to help this old man?

I'm sorry if you've done this already, but please check that:
- You have separate logins in 1P for the "purchases" site and the "payments" site
- Each login uses the correct URL for the relevant site in the 1P website field
To make it completely clear, I think you need to set up two separate logins, one for purchases and one for payments—each one, of course, specifying the appropriate login URL. You can name the sites in 1P so you can clearly distinguish between them.
Does that help?

Hi @braddye ,
I'm sorry to hear about this, that does sound like a frustrating afternoon!
In addition to Stephen's suggestions, I have one more thing for you to check. In Preferences > Browser, there is a setting called 'Lenient URL Matching', is it checked? This is a fancy term that means 1Password is less specific when it matches your Login items with the website that you're visiting. For example, if Lenient URL Matching is enabled, then when you visit either 'kohls.com' or 'credit.kohls.com', both of your Kohls' Login items will be displayed as a match. Essentially, 1Password is looking only at the main domain - or the part of the web address that says "kohls.com". If you uncheck 'Lenient URL Matching', then 1Password gets more precise, and will look at the whole web address and will be able to tell the difference between 'credit.kohls.com' and 'kohls.com'. Does this make sense?
I also like Stephen's suggestion with respect to naming:
You can name the sites in 1P so you can clearly distinguish between them.
For any sites that I have multiple accounts for, I make it a point to give each Login a very unique name so that I don't get mixed up when I see the name in 1Password mini.
Again, I'm sorry for the frustration here - if you have any questions, please let us know! We're here to help.
