Delete all local data?
On my company laptop I accidentally set it up to sync with iCloud - that is an old vault.
I changed the sync settings to None.
The logins are still in some vault, I assume local, since they show up
I was going to switch to my Dropbox database - however it wants to merge with the local data / vault
I don't want to merge - I just want to use Dropbox and delete the data that got pulled in from the old database

Thanks for taking the time to write in! It sounds to me like you'd like to start fresh with 1Password. Please follow the directions here to do so: Starting Over.
When you set up 1Password as a new user after going through this process, just be sure to point 1Password at the file in Dropbox. Use the Setting up 1Password guide for help here.
