Merging two vaults

UPDATE: I recall buying a previous version of 1Password from the App Store. Looking at my copy of 1Password 5, it appears that I bought it from Agile's web store. Further complicating situation is iCloudDrive and the number and diversity of Mac devices I have... I just installed 1Password5 on my new inherited late 2009 iMac running Yosemite. Apple tells me that "ICloud Sync is only available with 1Password from the App Store." Hmmmmm. I am running Cloud Sync from my 1Pass app on iPhone and iPad, but those changes aren't getting synced to my MacBook Pro which is running Agile Bits web store version? That would explain some of the mystery: why login updates aren't in sync on all my devices.
ORIGINAL POST: My situation with two vaults is a bit different... I wound up with two vaults by accident. I would like to combine the two with the most recently changed taking precedence [logins] and then discard the redundant vault.
Also, reading this thread gave me an idea, and this question: Is there a way to make a "smart vault" by a query of tags, let's say, that could hold all the passwords (WordPress Admin, AWS, MailChimp, ) pertaining to a particular client or project. Then that Smart Vault could be exported or shared with a colleague. I don't want to manage two vaults again...ever.
Thanks,

@Ellee H.: Sorry for the confusion! I hope you don't mind, but I've moved this to a separate discussion, since it's a different issue.
That is correct: you won't be able to use iCloud sync on the Mac since you did not purchase 1Password from the Mac App Store. However, Dropbox Sync is supported in all current versions of 1Password across all platforms...and it just so happens that this will help your vault situation as well!
So what you can do is set up Dropbox Sync on each device, and after the first one, you'll be asked if you want to merge the data on the device with what's already in Dropbox. Just say yes!
Regarding tags, you can't make vaults that are dynamic, but if you give the items in question the same tag you'll be able to find them all under that tag in the sidebar (and an item can have multiple tags if you wish).
I hope this helps. Let m know if you have any questions! :)
