    Hi @quicksilver101,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with 1Password! I'm not sure I understand the exact problem you described, but we'll be happy to help get this straightened out:

I don't know the exact version of 1PW that i'm running, just that it's very old.

You can follow the steps in this knowledgebase article to find the version of the 1Password app on your Mac. Please let us know the version you find there, as it will make a difference for troubleshooting.

I don't use the log-ins, i make up my own passwords + add them to the log-in page.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean? Are you saving your website login credentials (username, password, URL) in Login items in 1Password? Or do you mean that you're not using 1Password to store your login info?

I know my master password to 1PW.

What happens when you try to unlock 1Password with your master password? Is it being rejected?

It seems that changing my apple id password made this computer forget that i have 1PW!

Do you mean the 1Password app disappeared from the Applications folder on your Mac? I can't think of any reason why changing your Apple ID password would cause any problems for the 1Password app. If you were using the iCloud sync feature in 1Password (which may or may not be available in your version of 1Password), the worst that would happen by changing your Apple ID password is that iCloud sync would stop working, but the 1Password app and browser extension would still work. It might help if you can describe exactly how you normally access 1Password, and what happens when you try to do that now.

I can't open 1PW. My computer now doesn't recognize that i have it.

Again, I'm not sure what you mean here - is the 1Password app missing from the Applications folder? Or is the 1Password browser extension missing from your web browser? Or is your master password rejected when you try to unlock 1Password? Please walk us through what's happening on your end. What are the exact steps you normally take to use 1Password, and what happens when you try that now? If you get any error messages, what do they say?

I'm sorry for all the questions! However, once we know more details about what you're experiencing on your Mac, we should have a better idea of how to help you with that. Thanks in advance!
