Edited Section Headings Revert to Original State?

I entered the information for all my server accounts into 1Password. I changed the name of the “Admin Console” heading to “Account Manager” and the “Hosting Provider” heading to “Joomla Information”. I also changed some of the subheading names, like “admin console URL” to “account mgr url”. It accepted all the changes without issue, and everything seemed fine until a couple days later when I noticed on one of my synced machines that the headings were automatically changed back to their original states.

Is that intentional? If so, why would 1Password allow me to change the headings if it was just going to change it back without my permission later?

    Hi @krishunt,

I'm sorry for the frustration here! At this time, those template field headings should not be changed. We're working on making this more clear for users and I have shared your experience with our development team.

If you'd like to fully customize your database, I would suggest using a new section with custom fields, which are fully customizable.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns!

The question remains: why does it allow you to change them at all if you're not supposed to, and it's just going to cause confusion later?

    Hi @krishunt,

I wish I had a good answer for you there. I believe our plan is to move toward more fully customizable items where those fields will be properly editable, but I can't give details on when a change like that might be implemented.
