I can't get Firefox to install the 1Password icon on FF's toolbar. There isn't a "hamburger" on the right of the FF toolbar. This is the FF message, "The add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on agilebits.com"

    Hi @DrewPric ,

I've separated your comment into its own thread, since we're discussing two separate complications here. Thanks so much for including the message text in your original post, it gives us a great place to start!

It sounds like you're running into trouble in downloading the extension. I see that it's been a couple of hours since your original post - if you try again now, do you get the same error? (I'm hoping it was just a blip somewhere in our site and that it has since been resolved!)

Of course, if you're still getting the same message, do let me know and we'll investigate further.

Over several days with multiple attempts, I get the message "the add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on agilebits.com.

I think it might be helpful if you could provide a little more information. Please tell us:

Edit: for anyone else reading this thread I notice that someone else has a similar problem in the Knowledgebase Feedback forum.

@divadad I have deleted your duplicate post just to keep things tidy. I'm sorry that I don't have an immediate answer to your problem but, for anyone else reading this thread, I note that someone else has a similar problem in the 1P for Mac forum.

    Hi @divadad,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having some trouble as well. I merged your post with this existing thread that @Stephen_C so helpfully pointed out. I suspect that a solution for one of you may help the other.

I just tried to reproduce this in Firefox 39.0 in OS X Yosemite 10.10.4, but — for better or worse — I was able to install the 1Password extension in Firefox without any trouble.

    1. Could you let me know which version of Firefox you are using?
    2. Does the issue persist if you create a new Firefox profile to test in?

Disabling my avast antivirus software enabled me to download the Firefox 1password extension without a problem

    Hi @DrewPric,

Could divadad's solution apply to you at all, is it possible you have some anti-virus software that may be interfering with the download? Hopefully that might help you too.

Yep, that was it! I disabled Avast, which allowed the extension to load. Thanks!
