2 Macbook pros. Older one (2011) running 10.8.5 (limited by work medical software to 10.8 at this stage). New macbook pro (2015) with Yosemite. Purchased 1password from Mac store (latest version) . I am new to iCloud. Have it activated on machines. Program and data synced easily to my iPhone.
On the older mac - message - loading older version of 1password - i.e. 4.4.2.
So 1password working on new mac / and syncing to iPhone.
Now when opening on older work mac - "used 1 password before" - yes - "where is your data ?" - indicated iCloud - but "could not find 1password information on iCloud" -
Is this solvable. iCloud is active on the older work mac.

@david_schache Apple made drastic changes to iCloud syncing with the introduction of both iOS 8 and Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite so that once you start using the new (current) version of iCloud it won't work with previous versions of iOS or Mac OS. In other words, you cannot use iCloud syncing between 1Password 5 for Mac in Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite and 1Password 4 for Mac in Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion. Instead you will need to use Dropbox syncing. You will need to switch to Dropbox syncing in order to do this.

@david_schache You are most welcome! Glad to be able to shed some light on the situation. Dropbox should work very well in this situation.
