Can't Sync to iCloud continued.....

@megan I always back up data files before doing an uninstall because when I do an uninstall of software I want a total uninstall with all supporting files gone, so I know the software is totally removed from my system. I then know I am doing a very clean reinstall if I chose to reinstall the software. Some software programs have an uninstall program, it would be nice if 1Password had one.

Yes I reseved an email from Andrew with 21 steps that I followed exactly and I still can't sync to iCloud.

Like I said my best guess is that my app cleaner program is not removing all the 1password files, and 1password still thinks it has data files in iCloud and can't find them, so 1Password thinks it is not connected to iCloud.

Do you have an uninstall program or a list of every 1Password file on my iMac so I can manually remove them?

    Hi @shellyb123 ,

Thanks for following up here! I've added your post here to the email conversation with Andrew. Again, in order to get you to your solution the quickest, it's best if we keep this conversation in one place.

@megan Oh yeah how about a telephone number. This forum and email is a lame way of getting software support when someone has a software problem that can't be easily resolved!!!!! Talking the old fashioned way would defiantly keep the conversation in one place!

    Hi @shellyb123 ,

There are several benefits to supporting our users in the forums and via email:

    • Our instructions are often lengthy (as you've seen in the email conversation already) and having a nice written list allows you to preform these steps at your own pace.
    • Email and forums are also great venues for sharing information like screenshots and Diagnostic Reports.
    • Email and forum conversations make it easy for you to get help from multiple members of our team, and for new members to quickly get caught up on the situation (as there's a record of all the conversation right there!)

Again, I apologize for the frustration. I know it's a bit stressful when you're without access to your password data. You're in good hands with our team here, and we'll get you sorted out just as soon as we can!
