Mac OSX Mavericks - 1Password message - cannot connect to 1Password mini - produces a hang condition

Previous to this problem I had a problem logging into OSX and changed the password for the administrator (affects the keychain) - so am creating a new keychain.

    Hi @Frank Thompson ,

    Please try quitting 1Password using ⌘⌃Q ( Command-Control-Q ) and rebooting your computer. Does this help?
